I listen to the radio on my way to work every morning and the guys on that radio show were talking about the sex rehab show that Dr. Drew apparently has on television. In short, there are several pseudo celebrity-ish sex addicts who are going through a 21 day sex rehab program. They can't have sex or masturbate for the entire 21 day rehab stint and that started the conversation... could you go for 21 days without sex or masturbation?
One of the guys is taking up the challenge and has decided to try to go for 21 days without sex or masturbation. He's married, so he says not having sex for three weeks will be no big deal, but apparently he masturbates at least once a day. He's on day 10 and, by his own admission, is cranky and agitated. It probably doesn't help that they talk about his lack of orgasms every day. Poor guy...
And it got me thinking - could I go 21 days without sex or masturbating or orgasms of any kind? Could you?

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want to try, at this stage in my life. I'm a full believer in the "use it or lose it" advice that comes from other medical professionals, and who wants to take a chance on that?

ReplyDeleteI haven't done 21 but I did 14, and I was cuh-razy! But the sex after...well not the sex, it was a bit quick and selfish, but the orgasm...hot diggety! Not worth the two week wait but it was quality.
I could do it, but I would be a big crabby bitch.
