1) A whole week of vacation!
2) Getting knocked up.
3) College football season.
4) Driving out to Maryland to spend a long weekend with my sister and her girls.
5) Ripe bell peppers picked from the plants in my container garden.
6) Labor Day weekend up at the cottage with 15-20 friends - woot!
7) Buying a couple of new bathing suits at end-of-season sales.
8) Going to lunch with a friend that I haven't seen in almost 2 years.
8 THINGS THAT I DID YESTERDAY
1) Got out of bed about a half hour late *exaggerated wink*
2) Prepared a pork roast to go in the crock pot to slow cook all day.
3) Organized a new company-wide project list... can you stand it?!? *shivers with joy*
4) Ate lunch with the cutie patootie IT guy at my office.
5) Took Oscar to the park to run around while I...
6) ...talked to my mom on the phone.
7) Soaked in a hot bubble bath while drinking a cold Corona.
8) Watched the evil Rick Bayless win Top Chef Masters. *shakes fist and mutters that it should've been Hubert*

Oh man I can't wait for college football.
ReplyDeleteSC crushes OSU on Sept. 12, loses to Stanfird or some BS. MSU beats both Penn state and OSU...USC vs. MSU Rose Bowl baby...could happen.
And you are so wrong on pineapples. Really. I'm gonna send you an edible arrangement of chocolate dipped ones...so good.
Lunch with IT again? ;-)
Is there a plan for getting knocked up?
ReplyDeletemay be grilled pineapples?
ReplyDeletei wanna live on a lake too!!! : ) wanna be neighbors?
Yus - as of August 1st, we are in full-on baby making mode. Luckily, we're able to do it the fun way at this point... having sex at least once a day. We have been changing up when and where a little bit to keep things interesting.
ReplyDeleteKind of a funny quirk though - my husband is a little bit hung up on our baby being conceived in love. It's sweet, but it means he is more inclined to want to make sweet, sweet love all the time and I'm game for things to be a little rougher. Oh well, if that's my biggest problem, I'm a lucky girl. :)
